The cards are organized and color-
coded in three critical subject area:
- The nature of lead poisoning
- How children become poisoned
- Actions parents can take to help
their child get well
The cards are carefully prioritized and
flow smoothly from one subject to the
next. The loose-leaf format makes it

needs.
Bright Futures has been thoroughly
field tested in focus groups and during
family visits. Over a hundred parents
and public health nurses participated
in the development of this excellent
product.
Bright Futures was developed by the
California Childhood Lead Poisoning
Prevention Branch (CLPPB), with support from
the Center For Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC), and the Public Health
Institute, formerly the California
Public Health Foundation.
Bright Futures is available for $38 each
